The Klamath Irrigation District (K.I.D.) has been made aware of an issue with the April and May electric bills issued by PacifiCorp. It has come to our attention that some PacifCorps bills were calculated based on historic demand rather than actual meter readings.
Key Issue: Some patrons who have not yet activated pumps, pivots, or other irrigation infrastructure for the season received April and May bills from PacifiCorp that reflect historic usage rather than actual consumption. This may have resulted in inaccurate charges.
We strongly urge all K.I.D. farmers to carefully review your April and May invoices from PacifiCorp for any discrepancies. If you believe your bill does not reflect your actual usage, please take the following steps:
- Compare your bill with your meter readings or confirm whether you had any active irrigation equipment during the billing period.
- Contact PacifiCorp directly to report any inaccuracies and request a corrected bill.
- Notify the Klamath Irrigation District office so we can have a historic record of the issue and track the extent of this problem.
For further assistance, you can reach PacifiCorp customer service at 1-888-221-7070.
Sincerely,
Klamath Irrigation District
