In accordance with ORS 545.137(3), Klamath Irrigation District will have two openings on its Board of Directors expiring December 31, 2025.
The open positions are for the First and Fifth Divisions, currently held by Tyrel Kliewer and Fred Simon.
Candidates must be qualified electors in these designated divisions: musts be nominated by petition, and each petition signed by 10 electors in the proposed division who are qualified to vote or, nominations may also be made at an assembly of not less than 25 electors.
All nominations shall be filed with the Secretary of the Board no later than October 8, 2025, between the hours of 8am and 5pm at Klamath Irrigations District, 6640 KID Ln., Klamath Falls, OR 97603. If after expiration of the date for nomination only one qualified candidate has been nominated for the office to be filled, it shall not be necessary to hold a Wednesday, November 12, 2025 election.
